Windermere - Original Large Watercolour Painting
Windermere - Original Large Watercolour Painting
Last year we stayed in a boathouse right on the shores of Windermere in the Lake District. Every morning I woke up before the rest of the family and got to see the lake before a single boat or canoe had broken the surface of the water. In that moment the lake is perfectly still, and the reflections of the banks of the river in the still water are beautiful. This larger watercolour captures the still water, the morning mist and the woody banks of the river.
This large piece of artwork is painted using watercolour paints onto St. Cuthbert's Mill heavy watercolour paper. This piece would look great with a thick white mount and modern medium size black frame.
Medium: Professional quality watercolour paints.
Paper: Heavy St Cuthbert's Mill 100% cotton acid free and archival watercolour paper approved by the Royal Watercolour Society of Britain. Deckle edge. Paper Size: 560mm x 760mm (22” x 30”).
Border Size: None, this artwork is painted right up to the edge of the paper. You could frame over the edge, or frame with a mount that shows off the beautiful edges of the paper.
Frame: Not included, contact me for framing options if required.
