They Fly Home Together - Studio Print

Before we moved to Ilkley our previous house was under the twice-daily flight path of a huge flock of Canada Geese. They are noisy honkers when they are flying, and so I always ran outside to watch and listen to them pass over. This pair of geese are painted using watercolours and a technique similar to Chinese painting, I load my brush with colour and carefully place it down to produce each wing feather. The bird's eyes and faces are painted in more detail, to add contrast. This painting has strong energy between the birds, as their wings are in opposite formations.  

This artwork is printed on museum-quality paper using fine art giclée printing techniques. Our prints are high quality, designed to last and are printed in my Ilkley Studio. Please note that some prints have a white border around the print, which you can choose to frame up to, or leave showing when mounted.

All prints are shipped flat and wrapped in acid-free paper.
