Ilkley Moor Cow & Calf - Original Watercolour Painting
Ilkley Moor Cow & Calf - Original Watercolour Painting
The Ilkley Moor Cow & Calf is a quirky and iconic rock formation in the shape of a cow and calf, resting peacefully among the millstone grit. Legend has it that the calf was separated from the cow when the giant Rombald, in a hasty escape from his angered wife, stepped on a rock and leapt across the valley.
