Flying Pigeon - Original Watercolour Painting

This watercolour artwork captures the unique iridescence and translucency of domestic pigeons which are derived from the Rock Pigeon. After spending time in London, I noticed the gorgeous sparkle and glow of these birds in the sunlight. Despite their traditional grey, black, and white colours, pigeons reveal a wonderful vibrancy when they take to the sky.

This artwork is painted using high-quality watercolours onto medium-weight watercolour paper. This is an original one-off watercolour painting, not a print.

This artwork will be posted flat wrapped in glassine paper to protect it.

Medium: Professional quality high pigment watercolours. Paper: 100% cotton acid-free and 300 gsm archival watercolour paper approved by the Royal Watercolour Society of Britain.
